As of 4PM most of the Cape has seen 6-9 inches of snow and moderate to heavy snow continues around the area. Visibility has been hovering between 1/4 and 1/2 mile and wind gusts as of 4PM are approaching 40 mph in spots. Temperatures are in the upper 20s to lower 30s across the Cape…but much colder temperatures are lurking just a bit to our northwest. This air will surge southeastward across the area later this evening as winds back to the north and the coastal front slams back offshore. Note the distinct difference in temperatures on the image below. Radar data picks up the front as well.
