Temperatures fell to the 20s overnight but will make a nice recovery today, with afternoon highs well into the 40s across the Cape.
The main negative to the day will be a gusty southwest breeze off of Nantucket Sound which will make it feel a bit cooler (though if you can find a sunny spot protected from the wind, it should feel quite nice!) and will prevent our temperatures from rising as high as they otherwise could.
But if today’s weather doesn’t work for you…tomorrow definitely should.
Southwest winds will turn westerly tonight and persist through the day on Sunday. With more of a land breeze taking hold and the atmosphere moderating a bit more, temperatures should make a run at 50F across most of the Cape – with some spots likely reaching the lower 50s under a fair amount of sunshine…not bad for mid and late February!
