Sunshine Wednesday morning will slowly fade out behind advancing clouds over the course of the day…with skies trending toward overcast as we push through the afternoon and into the evening hours. Temperatures in the 30s to start the day will rise into the 40s for highs…hopefully nearing 50F for a time.
Deeper moisture will push eastward and arrive this evening and tonight and will yield some light rain showers around the area for a time tonight. Precipitation should be relatively light and intermittent.
This first batch of shower activity will push offshore Thursday morning and will be followed by drier weather during the day on Thursday…before additional shower activity pushes into the area Thursday night and Friday morning.
The high-resolution NAM model simulated radar (courtesy of PSU) shows the precipitation advancing into the region tonight.
