Heavy Rain – Morning Totals

Heavy wind-driven downpours continue to rotate through the area…bringing pockets of street flooding and lots of standing water on area roadways.

Heavy rain will persist into midday before becoming somewhat lighter…but precipitation won’t taper down until late day as our April Fool’s Day nor’easter only slowly rotates eastward away from the area.

Total precipitation in excess of 3″ is likely across a good chunk of the Cape and it’s possible some spots end up closer to 4″! Here are some morning totals into the CoCoRaHS network – note some spots already up to nearly 3 inches.
