Tuesday morning radar imagery showed a large area of rain and embedded downpours heading east-northeastward across Southern New England, destined to give us another wet day across the area.
Rain will spill onto the Cape and move through the area over the course of the morning, with heavier precipitation tapering to drizzle and showers during the afternoon.
Gusty southeast winds will develop as well, with a few gusts to 40 mph or better possible for a time today. The National Weather Service has hoisted a Wind Advisory for the area.
1/2 to 1 inch of rain is expected from the incoming rain.
