Skies finally started to clear out late Monday afternoon and early evening as a slow-moving coastal storm shifted seaward. In its place, high pressure is building into the region and taking control of our weather. This incoming high pressure center is setting us up for several days of sunshine and much warmer temperatures.
As for today, expect sunshine throughout the day and for temperatures to top out in the 60s and lower 70s across the Cape. Busy west winds will persist through a good chunk of the day, adding a refreshing feel to the air.
Even milder temperatures are expected over the next couple of days and it’s likely that a few spots will near 80F by Thursday and Friday. Enjoy!
