Gray skies and cool temperatures have been a bit too common in recent days. Temperatures on Saturday only climbed to the upper 60s to around 70F and intermittent mist and drizzle combined with a gusty northeast wind made it a very unpleasant day by late July standards.
Thankfully, the ocean storm responsible for the dreary weather – which during the middle of this past week looked as though it may stall near the region for several days – has shifted seaward and sunshine has returned.
Temperatures will climb well into the 70s today and humidity levels will remain quite low. Similar weather is in store for the area on Monday.
