Bit More Humid

After a busy north and northeast wind persisted through Saturday and Sunday – funneling dry air southward from Canada – southwesterly winds resumed across the area Monday afternoon. The southerly flow of air has brought a gradual return of low level moisture to the region, meaning dew point values have begun to inch upward. As of Tuesday morning, dew point values are sitting in the middle and upper 60s and will generally hold steady – perhaps flirting with 70F at times – over the next several days. While truly oppressive humidity levels are not anticipated in the coming days, it will certainly feel a bit steamy at times.
