Partly to Mostly Sunny, Breezy, Cooler

High pressure is building southward from Canada, forcing yesterday’s cloud deck out of the area and yielding a more typical Autumn day across the region.

We can expect a fair amount of blue sky and sunshine through the day today…with just some passing clouds rolling in off the ocean at times. Temperatures will peak near 60F for a high (which isn’t too far from the average for the date) but a busy northeast wind will make it feel cooler at times, especially through the first half of the day.

A few wind gusts of 20 to 30 mph are likely for a time this morning before winds relax some over the course of the afternoon.
