Sunday dawned gray and wet and finished gray and wet.
A steady, cold, wind-swept rain persisted across the area throughout the second half of the weekend, yielding another solid soaking rain event on the Cape – adding to our remarkably wet start to 2018.
Most of the Cape picked up between 3/4 and 1 inch of rain on Sunday…this after many spots saw .3 to .4 inches of rain Saturday afternoon and evening.
Amazingly, some spots on the Cape have now received over 14 inches of rain since the start of the new year.
