Low pressure lifting up the Eastern Seaboard today will spread showers across the region throughout the day and into tonight.
As we push into the second half of the day, especially into the late afternoon and early evening hours, a deeper wave of moisture will lift northward into the area and will likely kick off some downpours. A rumble of thunder is possible as well.
Temperatures will hold in the 50s for most of the day and a gusty south and southeast wind will persist until the late evening hours. A few isolated wind gusts to 40 mph are possible.
Things will dry out very late tonight and sunshine and mild temperatures will resume Thursday.
