Wet Start to the Year Continues…

We are now solidly into April and the going weather theme of early 2018 continues – wet!

Parts of the Cape have now recorded over 24 inches of precipitation since January 1st…with a widespread 22-24 inches across the Mid and Upper Cape and a general 18-22 inches across the Lower and Outer Cape.

Additional precipitation is expected today (snow and rain), tonight (rain) and again Saturday night (snow and rain).

For reference, through April 6th, the average total precipitation at Hyannis year-to-date over the period of record is 13.64″.
