A cold front is sliding offshore Wednesday morning and will continue to push eastward and away from the region through the day today.Behind the front, a warm but much less humid air mass is building into the Great Lakes, Northeast and New England. While dew point values are in the upper 60s and lower 70s this morning here on the Cape, readings are falling through the 50s and 60s to our west and will continue to drop through the day. This air will push eastward this morning and move onto the Cape shortly. Consequently, while Wednesday started murky and muggy…it will finish with a much more refreshing feel.
We can anticipate a couple of very nice days to close out the week with lots of sunshine, temperatures in the upper 70s and lower 80s and very little, if any, humidity to contend with.
