A cold front swung across the region today (and set off a couple of quick-moving downpours during the early and mid-afternoon hours) and brought a wind shift to the northeast. Behind this front, a bubble of much more comfortable air is sinking into the Northeast and New England.

Dew points are gradually slipping out of the 70s and into the upper 60s this evening and will continue to slowly drop off overnight.

Friday is looking to be a far more tolerable day outside as temperatures hold in the 70s and dew point values continue to fall off.
