Quiet, Cool, Bit Gray

While high pressure is attempting to build into the region from the north and clear things out, a thick veil of mid and high level clouds associated with the remnants of Gordon and a cold front that pushed through the area late in the work week is blocking out the sun so far this morning.

Visible and infrared satellite imagery shows an expansive area of clouds across the Great Lakes, Ohio Valley and Northeast and “clearly” suggests that cloud cover will be more prevalent today than it appeared it would be earlier in the week.

So, unfortunately, while we’ve managed to dry out and cool off, it’ll be gray at times through the day today as clouds move in and out of the region through the day.
