Morning Showers…Afternoon Sunshine. Windy and Chilly.

A potent upper level energy center rotating across New England first thing Sunday morning is helping to induce surface low pressure development nearby and resulting in plenty of clouds and some rain to start the day.

Thankfully, this weather system is moving eastward at a good clip and will head offshore during the midday hours, taking it’s nasty weather along with it.

On the backside of the storm, we can expect skies to start to clear out during midday and early afternoon and this trend will continue through the afternoon as drier air takes hold.

Temperatures in the 40s this morning will go nowhere fast and gusty north winds will shift to the northward and remain quite busy through the day.
