Another Arctic Blast Later This Week

Temperatures Stuck in the 10s on Thursday

An arctic cold front will push across the Northeast and New England on Tuesday and move offshore first thing Wednesday morning. On the backside of this front, bitterly cold air will pour into the region and remain in place through the end of the week.

The coldest of the cold will be Wednesday night through Friday morning, when readings will hold in the single digits and teens around the Cape and wind chill values will be well below zero.

It’s quite likely that once the thermometer dips below 32F on Wednesday morning that we won’t see the freezing mark again until Sunday.
