Ocean Effect Snow Showers and Squalls

Bitterly cold air crossing the 40F ocean is creating numerous flurries, snow showers and some heavier snow squalls (on the far Outer Cape) around the area this morning. This activity will continue through the day and into tonight.

As winds become a bit more northerly, the heavier activity that has been confined to Provincetown and Truro will shift southward down the Lower and Outer Cape.

Watch for some accumulating snow this afternoon and evening… stay tuned.
