High pressure is building southward into New England, pushing yesterday’s clouds further south and bringing a bubble of very dry air to the region. The result will be some great Saturday weather with lots of sunshine and deep blue skies over the area.
Expect temperatures to climb through the 60s this morning and approach 70F this afternoon. An active (sometimes a bit gusty and cool during the morning hours) northeast wind will gradually abate over the course of the day, making for a very pleasant afternoon around the area. With the onshore component to the wind, area beaches on the north and east side of the Cape – from about Brewster to Sandwich along Cape Cod Bay and from Provincetown south to Chatham on the oceanside of the Outer Cape – will be a bit “chilly” for a time.
