Nearly Perfect Summer Weather

After a run of several days of muggy weather, a cold front crossed through the area on Thursday and brought a welcomed wind shift and a new air mass to the region.

Dew point values in the 70s on Wednesday and Thursday fell to the 60s Thursday night and have continued a slip downward today…with even drier air poised to move into the region over the next 12 to 24 hours.

While parts of the Cape still feel a bit muggy with a southerly wind off the Sound, many areas have seen dew point values dip into the 50s today and we can expect similarly dry, comfortable conditions on Saturday.

For the weekend overall – expect daytime temperatures in the 70s and 80s, plenty of sunshine and low humidity levels to be the weather story.
