Visible satellite imagery from mid-morning shows about as perfect a sky as you’ll ever see across the region. High pressure building in to the region is squelching cloud growth and resulting in just about 100 percent sunshine across the area.


Showers spilled onto the Cape late Friday afternoon and will continue to pass through the area through the nighttime hours. Model guidance shows the potential for some downpours overnight and we may hear a rumble of thunder.
