Dew point temperature is a measure of atmospheric moisture and is the temperature to which air must be cooled in order to reach saturation. During periods of warmer weather, the dew point is often used to measure how uncomfortable an air mass feels. Dew point readings over 60F are often considered uncomfortable, while readings exceeding 70F are deemed oppressive.
