Hi Sally,
Traditionally, the end of April is when I like to think that spring has finally taken hold of Cape Cod and we can say good-bye to the cold and gray days of early spring. March and the first half of April (we've been fortunate so far this year) can be tough months on Cape Cod. Check back as your trip nears!
Hi,
As of right now, the first few days of your trip are looking a bit unsettled as a storm moves in with clouds and likely some showers and cooler temperatures (pack some warm clothes).
However, behind this storm better weather should arrive for the second half of the week.
By the end of June average highs on the Cape are well into the 70s - but it's certainly not uncommon to have days of higher heat (80s and 90s) and humidity. Jump over the climate section of CapeCodWeather.Net and you can see average highs for a few spots on Cape Cod.
Thanks,
Bonnie in Vermont
Kim from Boston.
Hi Kim,
The weekend is looking OK. Right now, Saturday should be a good day with Sunday featuring a higher chance for some clouds and showers - though not an all day rain as things stand right now.
Travelling to P'town for a wedding the weekend of June 18-21. Any forcast for the weather?
We are coming to Eastham again this year 7/10 - 7/18. I have heard mention of some t-storm / rain activity beginning on 7/10 and extending into next week. Is this just isolated, hit or miss stuff that might impact the afternoon hours or do I have some washout days on my hands?
Thanks, Darryl
Hi,
As of right now, any rain activity looks short-lived at least through the middle of the week.
Is the shower and t storm activity on Wednesday and Thursday isolated, quick and hit or miss or pervasive throughout the area and last hours at a time thereby wiping out outdoor activities? Thanks Darryl
Hi Rachel,
Well the 4th-10th is certainly beyond the normal 7 to 10 day weather forecast but the trend so far this summer has been for above normal temperatures and no significant change to the weather pattern is expected any time soon. Average highs are in the upper 70s to lower 80s that time of year (but temperatures can easily be warmer). Check the climate section for a look at averages and precipitation.
Hi,
There aren't any real discernible trends at the current time. The general theme of this summer should continue, however - which is warmer than normal temperatures with longer bouts of humidity.
we will be in yarmouth from aug 7-14 on vacation. any idea how the week will be?so far the 7 day forecast is showing a sunny calm weekend.
thanks
hello,
so far so good. no major storminess in the cards at the present time and a bit cooler to start the period followed by warming conditions. Check back for updates over the next few days as your vacation week draws nearer!
Thanks Kaylonda
