Snow to Close Out the Work Week

A quick-moving weather system will slide southeast of the region tonight and Friday, giving us a period of steady precipitation very late tonight through the first half of Friday. The air mass should be just cold enough to allow this precipitation to fall in the form of snow – though marginal temperatures on the Outer Cape will result in a wet snow or rain / snow mix for a time. This doesn’t look like a major high impact event but some tough travel is certainly a possibility during the first part of Friday.
