February 3rd and 4th will go into the record books as one of the coldest days in the modern era across New England. Multiple record low temperatures were recorded throughout the six state region, including Boston’s first double digit negative temperature (-10F) since 1957. Here on the Cape, all 4 airport reporting stations fell below zero. Here are the (still unofficial) low temperatures recorded this morning (February 4th):
Provincetown: -4F
Chatham: -2F
Hyannis: -8F ( missing observations from 3AM to 6AM)
Falmouth: -9F
