July has been an interesting weather month so far…
We’ve “enjoyed” plenty of wet weather (though not nearly as bad as folks over interior Southern New England) and it’s been very humid. The other interesting oddity has been the lack of wind. Above is a plot of average wind speed in July 2023 vs previous years – 2023 is the leader of the pack, with an average wind speed at Hyannis of just 6.5 mph!
