A strrengthening low pressure system passed over the area on Saturday, bringing several rounds of rain and drizzle, along with some embedded downpours. The heaviest rain ended up passing over the middle and upper parts of the Cape, where greater than 1 inch of rain was recorded in many spots.
Above are rainall totals sent into the CoCoRaHS network by spotters across the Cape. You can see 1″+ totals focused over the Mid-Cape, with healthy amounts extending west to the Canal. Rainfall on the Outer Cape was closer to 1/2″.
