Friday’s cloud cover shifted offshore overnight and chilly Autumnal high pressure is building into the region from the north and west today, ensuring us a nice start to the weekend.
Visible satellite imagery Saturday morning shows wall-to-wall sunshine/clear skies across Southern New England. Surface observations showed temperatures in the 40s to around 50F here on the Cape and gusty northwest winds around the area.
This will be the general theme for the day – expect sunny skies from start to finish, seasonably cool temperatures and an active breeze throughout the day (gradually relaxing during the afternoon hours).
