Tough to ask for nicer weather this time of year (assuming one isn’t hoping for cold and snow?). Saturday is shaping up to be a pleasant day around the area with a good deal of sunshine and above average temperatures.
Winds stayed active overnight so despite clear skies, temperatures only dropped back to the 30s and lower 40s overnight…well above the average low for this time of year (average low for 12/16 is 29F at Hyannis). The mild start to the day will ensure another mild mid-December day with highs near 50F (a weak cold front will cross the area during the day, shifting winds to the northeast and preventing us from climbing well into the 50s).
Enjoy today’s nice weather…things are going to go downhill over the course of Sunday and really take a nosedive Sunday night and Monday!
