We’re in the midst of another stretch of unseasonably mild temperatures.
After hitting the middle 50s on Christmas Day, temperatures climbed to the upper 40s across most of the Cape on Tuesday and only fell back to the upper 30s and lower 40s last night (about on par with what our daytime temps should be like this time of year). The mild start this morning will ensure another mild afternoon today, with temperatures again nearing the 50F mark for highs.
Rain will move in tonight and help hold temperatures in the 40s overnight, with daytime temps again approaching 50F on Thursday. Looking ahead, near to above average temperatures are anticipated through the remainder of 2023.
