We are definitely shifting gears into Spring. Plenty of dreary weather, lots of rain, and big changes in weather from “it’s so warm outside” to “i hate winter” in short order.
Unfortunately, today we go in the wrong direction.
After a soaking rain last night and this morning, winds are shifting to the north today and a brief surge of colder air is digging into the region. That colder air will deepen later today and get funneled southward on a gusty north and northeast wind – making it feel pretty nasty late today. So while temperatures were in the 50s early this morning, we’ll finish the day closer to 40F, with northeast winds gusting to 30 to 40 mph.
