Light winds and lots of sunshine made Monday a really pleasant day around the area. While temperatures were a little cool, (highs were generally between 60 and 65F), the strong May sunshine really made things feel quite nice. Our Tuesday is shaping up to be a pretty nice day as well – albeit a bit breezy this afternoon. Mild southwesterly winds are taking hold and will help boost temperatures well into the 60s, with some backyards making a run at 70F. The only caveat will be a chillier feel right along the water’s edge from Chatham to Woods Hole and into Buzzards Bay where a busy southwest wind off the cool water will knock temperatures back several degrees this afternoon.
