Perfect timing and perfect weather. After a beautiful day on Friday – which saw highs right around 80F across the Cape – we’re kicking off the holiday weekend with very nice weather. Saturday will feature tons of sunshine and deep blue sky and mild temperatures. After starting the day in the lower and middle 50s near sunrise, temperatures will jump quickly into the 60s this morning and will climb to around 70F this afternoon. A light breeze will accompany the mild conditions.
While Sunday will feature a bit more cloudiness at times, it too should be a nice day across the area with mild temperatures and dry weather prevailing. By the time we reach Memorial Day, a wind shift to the southeast and an approaching frontal zone will mean more in the way of clouds around the area and possibly some morning fog and mist to contend with. Any meaningful rainfall, however, should hold off until Monday night.
So ranking and grading the weather days is pretty straight forward….Saturday: A, Sunday: B, Monday: C
