A small batch of cloud cover is rolling over the Cape first thing this morning, meaning early risers have awoken to gray skies and cool-ish temperatures. However, this area of clouds is shifting east quickly and will give way to developing sunshine rather abruptly this morning…with sunshine and blue sky dominating for the remainder of the day. Temperatures will climb through the 60s over the course of the morning hours and into the lower 70s this afternoon. Humidity won’t be a factor and a nice west and southwest breeze will persist through the day. Very nice weather will continue for much of the upcoming week with the only opportunity for meaningful rainfall coming Friday afternoon.
