Showers and rumbles of thunder pushed through the area overnight, giving us a nice, short-lived rainfall. While from a long-term perspective we are not in need of precipitation…it’s been a touch dry over the last week or so and the pollen has lingered as a result. Plus, this time of year with the very strong June sunshine, lawns and gardens can dry out quick. The CoCoRaHS network of observers from across the Cape recorded generally one-quarter to one-half inch of rain.
