The recent warm temperatures and abundant sunshine is really starting to push water temperatures upward. Nantucket Sound is already at 70F…with near shore temperatures certainly warmer than that. Cape Cod Bay is similarly mild, with readings in the upper 60s. Good news for swimmers…bad news for humidity-haters as it becomes increasingly difficult to scour out the humidity once our local water temperatures get into the 70s.
