What was looking like a terrific weekend is now sort of split in two. While Saturday will be a nearly perfect weather day, Sunday’s forecast has gone downhill.
Low pressure is going to develop along a stalled out surface boundary offshore over the next 24 hours, organize, strengthen and pivot north and westward through the day on Sunday and into Sunday night. As a result, morning sunshine Sunday will lose out as clouds rotate in off the ocean. Showers and areas of mist and drizzle won’t be too far behind and we should see some wet weather develop during the afternoon. Passing showers and areas of mist and drizzle will persist into Sunday night and likely to be accompanied by some gusty winds.
