A cold front pushed through the region late in the day Thursday, bringing a brief round of showers to some neighborhoods during the afternoon hours. Behind that front, cooler and drier air built into the region overnight and set the stage for a very nice stretch of weather for the next couple of days.
Expect a good deal of sunshine Friday through Sunday with mild temperatures (not far from 80F each afternoon) and not much in the way of humidity to deal with – particularly today as dewpoints sit in the 50s.
Our next round of unsettled weather should hold off until Sunday night and/or Monday as some moisture tries to back in off the ocean, bringing clouds and the threat for some showers and drizzle.
