Be on the lookout for some changing skies and quick hitting shower or thunderstorm later today and into the evening hours. A pocket of cold air aloft rotating southward across New England will combine with daytime heating to produce scattered thunderstorms across the region today and some of this activity is likely to make its way toward the Cape during the second half of the day. It’s possible a few of the showers contain some lightning and thunder along with some gusty winds and maybe even some small hail. Monitor the radar through the day.
