The weather remains quite tame across the region and really across much of the lower 48 states. Aside from some hot weather out west and a few areas of rain in the Upper Midwest and along the Gulf Coast, there isn’t a whole lot of storminess or hazardous weather across the nation. That will remain the case for the next several days. Here on the Cape, Thursday will be another sunny and pleasant day. After a cool early morning (some 40s in spots), temperatures will rebound to 70 to 75F under mostly sunny skies. As you can see on the national hazards map from the National Weather Service, there are some offshore zones shaded-in east of New England – that’s indicative of some unsettled weather that will pass to our east over the next 48 hours. While we’ll say mostly dry, that does bring the possibility for a bit more cloud cover Friday.
