Despite the sunshine, tides are running very high this weekend – in some cases reaching minor coastal flooding levels – thanks to the Full Moon. This “Blue Sky” flooding is becoming increasingly common with sea level rise. Yesterday’s high tide at Sesuit Harbor maxed out at 13.67 feet! That’s less than a foot from moderate flooding! Remarkable.
