Months of dry weather across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast is coming to an end. The first in a series of storms will impact the region today and linger across the area into the weekend, bringing us some much needed rainfall. Rain here on the Cape is likely to come in two main windows, one this afternoon and tonight and a second late Friday into Friday night. By the time things have wrapped up Saturday evening, a solid inch of rain is likely to have fallen around the area with higher amounts certainly possible.
