Dry But Cold

A fair amount of sunshine can be expected today but it’ll be a cold one. Biting northwest winds will persist throughout the day – gusting over 30 mph at times – and temperatures will struggle to rise a whole lot from their morning levels (not far from the freezing mark). Wind chill values will be in the 10s and 20s…certainly a cold early December day. Chilly conditions will continue tonight and tomorrow, before a slow moderation sets in on Sunday and milder air builds back into the region next week. Our next shot a precipitation comes Saturday night and first thing Sunday when a bit of light snow and rain is expected around the area in advance of a warm front.
