Colder air built into the region on Thursday and really took hold this weekend. This air mass will remain firmly entrenched throughout the next 7 to 10 days (at least). Daytime highs will likely hold in the 20s several times in the upcoming work week and we are likely to stay under 40F until at least Saturday the 11th. The National Blend of Models daytime high temperatures (posted above) give a nice visual of the persistent chill.
