Moisture (and actually somewhat “milder” air) rotating around a persistent area of low pressure over the Canadian Maritimes is pivoting southward across the region this morning. That pocket of moisture is producing some patchy cloud cover and some pockets of flurries and light snow around eastern New England. As such, don’t be surprised to see a few passing flurries or a brief snow shower this morning. The bigger story will be the continuation of the wind and cold. That low pressure area well to our northeast is producing a strong, seemingly-never-ending, pressure gradient over New England, resulting in ongoing northwest winds of 20 to 30+ mph. That, combined with temperatures in the 10s and 20s, is making it feel pretty miserable outside.
