Kind of needed, but poorly timed, rain. Showers and embedded heavier downpours will move in and out of the area throughout the day today…breaking a stretch of very nice Spring weather just in time for the weekend. Rainfall totals of 1/2 to 1 inch are expected by the time things taper down tonight. Better weather on Sunday…with even nicer conditions settling in to kick off the new work week.
