The storm center that brought heavy rain and strong winds to the area on Thursday is slowwwwly wobbling away from the Northeast, gradually losing its grip on our weather with each passing hour. However, the upper level storm center and its associated pocket of cold air aloft is still close enough to the region to allow clouds to bubble up and showers to develop and rotate through New England. Consequently, while Sunday has started mostly sunny, we again will have to be on the lookout for developing clouds and brief passing sprinkles and showers during the second half of the day.
