November has gotten off to a chilly start. It’s felt more like December at times and it’s been considerably colder than last November which had multiple days in the 70s over the same time period and failed to dip below freezing until mid-month.
Cold air will linger over the area today and tomorrow, with high temperatures both days struggling to crack the 50F mark, which is several degrees below the average for the date.
Looking ahead to Thursday, Friday and Saturday, milder air will finally build into the region as warmer southwest winds take hold. High temperatures each day should be near 60F (though cooling off and accompanied by rain on Saturday) each day and Thursday and Friday will feature a fair amount of sunshine.
Right now, Thursday looks like the pick of the week with temperatures sneaking into the lower 60s under clear skies.
