After a miserable weekend weather-wise, much better weather is here to start the work week. Clouds have cleared out and winds have swung around to the northwest, pushing the murky weekend conditions out to sea. The combination of strong April sunshine and offshore winds will propel temperatures well into the 50s today and it should feel quite nice this afternoon…especially when compared to Saturday and Sunday’s February-like conditions. The image above is a temperature map from the HRRR model. It shows readings in the lower and middle 50s this afternoon. We can probably tack on a couple of degrees to these values.
