The weather pattern across the region is getting blocked up, resulting in slow-moving storm systems and unfortunately for us, rather breezy conditions and cool temperatures. With a large upper level storm center rotating in place to our north and east, we’ll have a tough time shaking cloud cover and cooler than average temperatures today (and for the remainder of the week). Note on this morning’s satellite image, cloud cover and moisture rotating around the comma-shaped upper level low with little, if any, movement away from the region.
